    Unit1 How do you study for a test?

Section A

一.学习目标:

1.知识目标:Words and how to talk about how to study

2.能力目标:  Can use “ verb+by +doing ”correctly

3.情感目标: Studying makes a full man

二.学习重点:The important words and grammar focus

学习难点:-How do you study for a test ?

          -I study by…………

三.学习过程:

(一)预习导学:Tell the ways you study  and learn the words in Section A.

(二)自主学习:Listen to 1b and know about the ways of these students studying for a test.

(三)合作探究:Discuss the study ways you know and learn the use of “by +n/doing”

(四)梳理归纳:

看1a--2c 完成下列英汉互译

1、为考试而学习 _____________________

2、听录音带 _________________________

3、制作抽认卡________________________

5、制作词汇表_______________________

四.典题赏析:

例1、I study for a test by working with friends 我通过和朋友一起学习来准备考试"by+n\doing\pron(代词)表示通过手段、方式或方法做…可以用来回答how引导的特殊疑问句。by的用法大致有一下几种:

(1)、表位置:“在……旁边;靠近……”He sits by the window.  (他坐在窗户旁边)

(2)、表时间“到……为止,不迟于……”He will come back by noon. (他中午之前就回来)

(3)、表“乘……,通过……” He goes to school by subway.

(4)、与反身代词连用表示“单独,独自”

      I can solve the problem by myself. (我能独立解出这道难题)

(5)用于被动结构“由,被”The environment is destroyed by pollution.(环境被污染破坏)

例2、It's too hard to understand the voices.

1.此句有一句型 It's + adj. +(for sb.) + to do sth.

Eg:______________________________________________________

2.短语too…to 意为"____________________"结构为 too +adj. +to do sth 可用not …enough to do 和 so… that 句式改写

Eg:他太小了,不能自己穿衣服。(用三种句型翻译)

例3、What about reading aloud to practice pronunciation?

1.此句中What about 后跟 _________ _________  __________

 what 可用________来代替。

2.aloud为 adv.意为“出声地”指使人听见而发音,常与read连用,强调从不出声到出声,别人能听得见,但声音不一定很大,无比较级和最高级。loud强调声音响亮,常与spead, talk, sing, laugh连用,有adj.和adv的特点常用比较级。Loudly adv.“大声地,喧闹地”声音不悦耳,有时可用loud互换。

Eg : Rea Answers:

read the text aloud. 朗读课文.

 Try to sing louder 试着大声读.

 Who is knocking at the door loudly? 谁在使劲敲门

一、学习目标:

1、知识目标:

掌握下列单词或短语

pronounce , by mistake , mistake……for……,challenge , get……..right , solution , maybe/may be, realize ,be afraid to do sth /be afraid of doing sth /be afraid +that    

2、能力目标:能够完成关于Ways的话题讨论

3、情感目标:在谈论Ways的话题中明白科学的学习方法的重要性

二、学习重点:听力和分角色表演对话中的重点单词和短语

学习难点:写一篇关于你在学习外语的过程中最有效的方法的文章

三、学习过程:

(一)预习导学:复习有关学习方法并继续研究和学习更科学的学习方法

(二)自主学习:认真准备听力并熟读3b and 3c

(三)合作探究:Pair work and try to interview the classmates

(四)梳理归纳:

翻译下列短语

1.英语口语 ______________   2、犯错误___________________

四.典题赏析:

Why don’t you join an English language club to practice speaking English?

你为何不加入英语俱乐部训练口语呢?

句型 : Why don’t you +动词原形 ?为什么不………..?

本句型形式上是否定的,实际上是建议对方做某事。其常用形式也可以是

Why not +动词原形 ? 所以本句也可以换成 Why not join an English language club ……..?另外,在实际运用过程中可以用更简单的说法Why not ?

Eg: 让我们去踢足球,好吗?

--Let’s go to play football, shall we?

--Why not?为什么不呢?
