Unit 3 Teenagers should be allowed to choose their own clothes

Section A

一、Teacher's word:Nothing is difficult if you put your heart into it.

二、Teaching Aims:

   1.Knowledge aims:

     A:New words: allow,  drive, driver's licence, pierce, silly, instead of ,stay up

     B:Grammar:should +be allowed to do

     C:Target language:

       I think sixteen-year-olds should be allowed to drive.

       I disagree. I think sixteen is too young.

       Do you think....?

       I sgree./I disagree./I don't agree.

       Do you think thirteen-year-olds should be allowed to have part-time jobs?

       No,I don't.

  2.Ability aim:学会谈论你被允许的和不被允许做的

  3.Emotion aim:培养与人沟通的能力,学会体谅父母、朋友、社会,提高自我约束的能力。

三、教学重、难点

  1.Section A 部分重点词汇;2.含有情态动词的被动语态用法

  (一)情境导入:

我认为应该允许12岁的孩子选择他们自己的衣服。

以上句子中反复出现的should be allowed是含有情态动词的被动语态。

(二)自主学习:

3 > 强调或突出动作的承受者时,用被动语态

 本单元主要讲含有情态动词的被动语态。其结构为:

情态动词 + be + 过去分词

家长应该允许青少年上网。

( 一般疑问句 ) ________ teenagers ________ ________ to surf the Internet?

< 5 > 常见的其它几种时态的被动语态

一般现在时:主语 + be ( am / is / are ) + 过去分词 + ------

一般过去时:主语 + was / were + 过去分词 + ------

一般将来时:主语 + will / shall + be + 过去分词 + ------

< 2 > 句中get their ears pierced“穿耳孔,属于get + 宾语 + 过去分词结构,

get / have sth. done 常用于表示请或让某人做某事

1He had his bike ________ ( repair ) yesterday.

2I’ll have my hair ________ ( cut ) tomorrow.

3. —我家有许多规定。_______________________________________________

我们家也是。 ___________________________________

句中so引导的是倒装句。其结构是 So + be / 助动词 / 情态动词 + 主语,在时态上与前句保持一致,意为“------也是这样,表示所叙述的事与前面所讲的事一致。

1我喜欢英语,他也喜欢。I like English. ________ ________ ________.

2Jim会说汉语,我也会。 Jim can speak English, ________ ________ ________.

(四).拓展创新

结构so + 主语 + be / 情态动词 / 助动词,则表示同意别人的看法,意为的确如此。如:

他学习很刻苦。 —He works very hard.

他的确很刻苦。So he does.

他们昨天玩的很愉快。 —They enjoyed themselves yesterday.

确实很愉快。 —________ ________ ________.

你的朋友要到国外去。

他们是要去,而且我也去。

—Your friends will go abroad.

(五).梳理归纳:

1)含有情态动词的被动语态结构: 情态动词+be+及物动词过去分词

五、典型例题解析:

1.He should stop______(wear) that silly earring.

 答案为 wearing    解析:stop doing sth 意思是停止做某事stop to do sth 意思是"停下来去做另一件事"

2.-We have a lot of rules at my house.  -So____ _____.

   A.we do B.do we C.did I

答案是 B   解析:so+助、系、情态动词+主语 表示前一句中主语的情况也使用于后者,而so+主语+助、系、情态动词则表示"的确如此"

3.The flowers ______________(should water) in the morning.

 答案是 should be watered   解析:此句应用被动语态,因含有情态动词,故答案为 should be watered

六、课后反思:

    含有情态动词的被动语态结构较为复杂,学生在初学时易漏掉be 动词,另外倒装结构学时也不易掌握,需多加练习巩固。

2.Ability aim:能够针对被允许和不被允许做的事情发表自己的观点,能表达同意或不同意的理由。

3.Emotion aim:了解和反思自己的日常行为是否符合中学生日常行为规范,力争做一个遵纪守法的好学生。

both---and---的反义短语是neither---nor---,它连接两个并列主语时,谓语动词的形式应与后面的主语保持一致(即:________原则)。
