一、教师寄语

     A bold attempt is half success.(勇敢的尝试是成功的一半)

二、学习目标

知识目标:

Words: always, usually , often, sometimes , hardly , ever, never., once , twice ,

Phrases: how often  three times a week  every day. twice a week

Sentences:

--What do you usually do on weekends?   --I sometimes go to the beach.

--How often do you eat vegetables?       --Every day.

Most students do homework every day.

能力目标: 会使用频率副词及短语;能描述课余时间的活动安排;

情感目标: 培养学生良好的学习和生活习惯

how many后接可数名词复数,how much接不可数名词。

4how often是对动作发生的次数提问,询问的是频率多久一次

回答可以是:Every day./ Once a week./Three times a week./ Often./ ...

egHow often do you play tennis?

How often do you surf the internet.

(5) How long... ? 询问的是时间长短多长时间

回答可以是:About one hour./ Three hours. / Thirty minutes./... 

How long do you usually watch TV? 你通常看多长时间电视?

五、典型例题解析

 1.   How often do you exercise? 你(你们)多久锻炼一次身体?

How often + 助动词do(doesdid) + 主语 + do sth.? 疑问词how often是问频率(多久一次),(在这里助动词do(doesdid) 是起帮助构成疑问的作用)与一般现在时或一般过去时连用,回答一般是用表示频率的副词,如:once, twice, three times…, sometimes, often, quite, often, never, every day, once a week , twice a month , three times a month , three or four times a month 等。

翻译:

你们多久到工厂去一次?每星期两次。                                ?                                                                                                                  

他多久去购一次物?”“一个月一次。                                   ?                                                                                                                                                                    

2. “What do you usually do on weekends?” “ I usually play soccer.”

周末你通常做什么?”“我通常踢足球。

第一个do为助动词, 在这起帮助构成疑问的作用;而第二个do则是实义动词。

翻译:

周末你通常做什么?我经常看电影。                                                          

周末她通常做什么?她有时去远足。                                                                                                                         

3. “What’s your favorite program?” “It’s Animal World.”   你最喜欢什么节目?                    

4. As for homework , most students do homework every day . 

as for...意思是            ,常用于句首作状语,其后跟名词、代词或动词的-ing形式(即动名词)。如: As for himI never want to see him here.                                       

翻译:至于我自己,我现在不想去。                                                        

六、中考链接  

 1.— _______ do you have an English party?   —Once a month.(北京)

  A. How old        B. How far     C. How often      D. How long

解析:选项AB分别用来询问年龄和距离,选项CD用来对时间提问,但how often...?常用来对时间的频率进行提问,即多长时间做一次,其答语常为频率副词及频率短语Once/ Twice a week / month等。how long...?则用来提问时间有多长,答语常为表示一段的时间。如two weeks, more than a month等。选C

2.An apple a day is good ______ your health.(南通)   A. at   B. for   C. in    D. with

解析:题意为一天一个苹果对你的健康有益。表示……有益(有好处)要用be good for...结构,其中的介词for为固定搭配。选B
